Some seniors at my school have mentioned to me that they only have 18 days of school left as of today. That scares me so badly! Not only will I miss my dear senior friends, but that means I only have a few more days than that! I still have to make sure my GPA for this year will be okay, I have so much left to plan for our school's Spring Banquet (our school's version of Prom, minus the dancing), and I need to take the ACT sometime soon! Yikes! April is going to be a tough month.
But I'm also really excited for summer to come because I get to be a counselor at this really awesome camp that I've gone to ever since I was in 5th grade. For the past couple of years I've been a cabin leader and it's so much fun! I also get to go to a two-week seminar about worldviews in Colorado in this really cool town called Manatou Springs. But one of the most amazing things I get to do this summer is teach french! A lady my parents work with wants her two kids to learn french so I'm tutoring them. And they said learning french was useless! I might make money doing this someday, you never know.
I wish you all a very wonderful end of the schoolyear and beginning of summer!

I wish I were wearing this today: Tuesday
I wish I were wearing this today, but alas, even though I don't have to go to school today, I'm attending a funeral for a really cool guy who died last week. This guy was my basketball coach and he worked with my Dad, so I knew him pretty well and I'm going to miss him.

15 somethings about myself
1. I play the cello (because the cello is beast!)
2. I speak French (not fluently, but my teacher said I have a 4th grade reading level, so I'm pretty proud of myself)
3. I love kids (and if you even think the word "pedophile" than just shut up! children are all that is good, innocent, and happy in the world and if you feel the need to pervert that, go ahead, but don't get that icky mess all over my blog!)
4. I know the second verse to the "Friends" theme song.
5. It is my belief that pickles are Nature's (and salt's) perfect food. A bad pickle is a tradgedy.
6. I loathe cats. Sorry cat lovers, but I can't stand them. It's nothing personal, I had aweful experiences with them when I was a kid and I'm still terrified of them. I refuse to pet one.
7. I love to bike, but I got in an accident back in October and had nine stitches in my leg, so I'm kind of reluctant now.
8. I love to read books, namely young adult fiction (especially the "Harry Potter" series, best books ever written, just saying) and the classics (I'm pretty much obsessed with Louisa May Alcott and Lucy Maude Montgomery, who wrote "Little Women" and "Anne of Green Gables", respectively)
9. I have a superpower: I'm immune to boys. Not even kidding, they have no affect on me (no, I'm not a lesbian, I'm attracted to men, they just don't influence me at all). They can't make me feel really bad about myself or make me do anything for them. I'm totally in controll of myself around them.
10. I have all the Duggars' names memorized in order of age. (They're the family from "19 Kids and Counting" on TLC, if you didn't know)
11. I listen to almost every genre of music (except rap, which I don't really consider to be music) and I love all of them.
12. I have a pathelogical fear of being late to work (I'm a cashier at a grocery store). I have nightmares anout it frequently.
13. I love to write. I've started about a zillion and one novels, and finished zero. The farthest I've gotten was one hundred-something pages a couple summers ago. Then my family's laptop (which I wrote it on) completely died and I lost the story.
14. My favorite form of weather is every kind! Only I don't like to have one kind of weather for a long time, like more than a week, so it's a good thing I live in a state where the weather changes daily.
15. I secretly love watching Mary-Kate and Ashley movies. But don't tell anyone.

Bonjour!
Hello to anyone out there who, for some reason decided to read this dumb blog. Basically, I just created this thing to put things out there for the world to see that I think are interesting. You may or may not like what I have to say, so if you don't, by all means go to another web site. I personally enjoy polyvore.com, pinterest, grooveshark(for music), and sometimes stumbleupon. I don't actually get online too often, since I share a home and computer with four other people (and sometimes five or more, depending on how many people my sister decides to bring home when she visits). Well, I attend a small private school and we wear uniforms, so every day I plan on visiting my virtual closet (aka polyvore) and posting a "Wish I Were Wearing This Today" blogpost. I also want to write a post/entry about every week on my current thoughts about life/obsessions/interests etc. Plus I'll post interesting videos and such that I stumble across throughout the week as well. Just warnin' ya!
